For 2010, the new SRAM Force admittedly borrows from SRAM’s professional Red components: unidirectional carbon, wider skeletonized Dual Pivot design brakes and the lighter /stiffer BB30 crankset option - all this for a total weight of 1951g. 

SRAM Force has matured through millions of kilometers of professional racing and now offers many more features for the same price.

The SRAM Force group offers some of the lightest components constructed of carbon, aluminum and magnesium. The SRAM cassettes are compatible with Shimano hub bodies. If you’re wheels previously had Campy cassettes on them you will need to change hub body. Groupset includes: BB, Crankset, shifters, FD, RD, brakes, cassette, cables and chain.
