The aluminum frame with greater tire clearance combined with the carbon fork make this a solid handling bike, while small eyelets at the fork drop outs and frame allow for the attaching mud guards. For the town version the cockpit of the CX02 has been adapted to the needs of city traffic. The straight handlebars, the shift levers and the brakes all help the rider react quickly and directly to every incident.

iSC integrated Skeleton Concept - The iSC Integrated Skeleton Concept provides for a perfect power transmission and distribution of forces at the juncture of the top tube and the heavily loaded seat tube. Consequently the efficiency of any forward movement is increased while providing greater rigidity and a weight reduction of the frame at the same time.
Hydroforming - The cross machine CX02 frame is constructed from triple-butted aluminum tubing; through the use of hydroforming can be perfectly formed to impact positively the flow of forces. The monocoque manufacturing process for the seat stays ensures an increased level of rigidity for this particular section of the bike. Greater tire clearance and cross-specific cable guides. The cross machine CX02 boasts specially constructed chain stays that guarantee greater tire clearance. The cross specific cable guides facilitate carrying the bike in running portions of the race.
Mud guard attachments possible - Small but important details: the rear drop outs as well as the fork have threaded eyelets which accommodate mud guard attachments.
