Ciclo Werks opened its doors in 2006, giving Waterloo Ontario its first high-end bike shop. With strong ties to his family, shop owner Thomas Elsaesser believes in a relaxed, comfortable, at-home atmosphere. He strives to make customers his main priority. In 2009, Ciclo Werks expanded beyond a bike repair & retail shop and began distributing BMC in Canada to dealers across the country.

 

Tom isn’t really one with the words, but he is great with the bikes. His mantra is – “If you’re happy, we’re happy. Come see us. Have coffee.”

Jeff Armstrong – Head mechanic

 

Jeff has worked in the bike business for 10+ years. A brilliant mechanic, he’s knowledgeable & trustworthy. He’s your typical well-mannered farm boy who (after cycling of course) considers horses his ‘other’ ride. Ask Jeff to a mountain bike race if you’re up for a serious challenge. We wish you luck.

 

Dave Bryan – Shop Manager

 

Dave has 30+ years in the cycling industry, so if that’s not impressive, then you should also know that Dave doesn’t own a car.

 

George – Customer Service

 

Step foot inside the shop door and guaranteed you’ll see George’s friendly face. Tom likes to describe George as the “all around gopher” but the rest of us know that George keeps Tom busy so the real work can get done.
